Agronomic performance of rootstocks on the juice grape ‘BRS Magna’ grown in a Brazilian semi-arid region

Abstract Rootstocks are widely used in viticulture worldwide and can affect the yield components quality of grapes their juices wines. The aim present study was to determine effect rootstock on performance physical physical-chemical traits ‘BRS Magna’ juice grown Submédio do Vale São Francisco. performed over six production cycles period from 2015 2019 Bebedouro experimental field Embrapa Semiárido Petrolina, PE, Brazil. treatments consisted seven grapevine rootstocks: IAC 572, 766, 313, Paulsen 1103, SO4, Harmony, Freedom. following variables were evaluated: estimated yield, number grape bunches per plant, branch leaf fresh matter, bunch weight, length width, berry total soluble solids content (SS), titratable acidity (TA), SS TA ratio (SS:TA). Significant effects observed all except for SS. ‘IAC 572’ led increases up 61% grapevines, or 32.78 ton.ha-1, with significant responses other components.
